Southern Oregon Chapter Gathering
Are you excited to join a community of folks working together to restore wild native fish? Would you like to engage with like-minded people advocating for free flowing rivers?
In March, Liz Perkin, NFS Northern Oregon Coordinator, along with Eugene-based River Stewards, launched our first NFS River Steward Chapter. For the past seven months, folks in Eugene have been gathering to discuss areas in which they can create positive impacts for wild fish in McKenzie and Willamette watersheds.
We are excited to share that we will be launching our second chapter gathering in Medford for anyone interested in participating and learning more about the waters of southern Oregon and northern California!
On Tuesday, November 8th, 2022, at 5:00 pm, we will be hosting a southern Oregon chapter gathering at Common Block Brewery. Native Fish Society will be covering a few appetizers that night.
No need to prepare or plan ahead, this meeting will be all about getting together, building community, and having fun. In the future, our goal is to brainstorm some key conservation efforts we can tackle to help restore abundant wild fish.
Hold your calendar for Tuesday, November 8th! Bring a friend or two, and let's have a great time! We are excited to meet everyone in person and continue to build a groundswell of public support to restore abundant wild fish, free-flowing rivers, and thriving local communities.
